Day Five

Hena and I are feeling much better, thanks for the prayers and wellness wishes! :)
We both still have a cough (hers dry and mine wet), sniffles and are a little tired. I've also started sneezing a lot... who knows. But since I am wanting a bath more than just about anything I'm taking it as a good sign. :) I slept almost all of today again. I think I have been awake maybe four hours. Almost all that time I was being fed soup when I wanted meat but Sheru was worried about Hena and me getting the rest of the possible symptoms so he's been controlling what we eat. I did finally get chicken sausage this evening so I am happy to have gotten meat of some sort. : D Because of the delay we will not be going to Bangalore- but there was only one thing I really wanted to see there (a botanical garden). Sheru and Hena also remembered there is a better garden that will be in bloom in another town we are going to further south. The other reason we're not going there is they've had a cold snap and we're already recovering from sickness and don't really want to risk getting worse, ya know?
I found out something interesting today. Many Indian communities do not have continuous running potable water. Generally they have to monitor and fill the tanks themselves and occasionally the municipality fills them up (around three times a week). So there is a general shortage of potable water in Chennai and other areas of India. Some businesses and such have continuous water, and in other places this is not an issue at all since they can dig wells, but here it seems you much keep an eye on your water.
Anyhow, since my bath I feel amazing. Clean is wooooonderful! Well it's gtting toward midnight so I'm going to go to bed. From what I understand Hena and I might be going on a day trip tomorrow if Sheru will let us. :)

Glad you were able to fight off sleep long enough to post. Thanks.

It's nice to keep up with 'my' youngun when she's on the other side of the planet.
